The Ellison (formerly the Harlequin Hotel) is a four-star hotel located in the heart of Castlebar, County Mayo. Recently purchased by the Comer Group Hotels. Centrally located in Mayo, we are only 15 minutes drive from Westport, 35 minutes drive from Ireland West Airport and 25 minutes from Ballina. With the train station only a 5 minute taxi ride and the bus stop less than 5 minute walk this hotel offers the perfect base to explore all that Mayo has to offer. Travel Description : Approaching Castlebar from Dublin, Sligo, Ireland West Airport, Derry and Belfast: Proceed straight through the first 2 roundabouts, taking the exit signposted for Westport. At the 3rd roundabout, take the 2nd exit sign-posted to Newport. Proceed for approx. 300 meters and the hotel and Multi-storey Car park is located on your right. Proceed directly into the Multi-story car park, which has direct access into the Hotel. Entering Castlebar from Galway, Limerick, Cork, Waterford: Proceed to the first roundabout and take the 1st exit signposted for Westport. At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted to Newport. Proceed for approx. 300 meters and the hotel and Multi-storey Car park is located on your right.
