The Shearwater, one of the newest Ballinasloe Hotels, is an exquisite 4 star hotel and spa resort with easy access to Galway and Athlone. Ideally situated at Marina Point on the majestic River Suck, one of the most beautiful rivers in the country, this is the perfect retreat.
Supplements for Children must be paid in full to the hotel upon checking-in. Please read below
Child Policy:
Children aged 0 to 3 can stay free of charge on a room-only basis in existing bedding in a standard double room.
For children aged 3+, you must upgrade to a two-bedroom family room at an additional cost of EUR50 per night, these rooms are limited. If a two-bedroom family room is not available, you may upgrade to a standard family room at an additional cost of EUR30 per night, please check with the hotel directly for the availability of family rooms before booking.
Supplements for upgraded rooms do not include the extra B&B supplement for Children.
Supplements for children over the age of 4 are as follows:
For children aged 4 to 12, an additional EUR10 per night B&B
For children aged 12 to 15, an additional EUR20 per night B&B
For children aged 16+, an additional EUR25 per night B&B
All-inclusive dinner packages will dine in the our restaurant during weekends and peak seasons.

Cancellation Description : Once you cancel your booking up to 12 noon 2 days before arrival you will not incur a cancellation fee from the hotel. Cancellations that are made after 12 noon 2 days prior to arrival and no shows at the hotel will be charged the 1st night of the stay to your card. Please note that your booking deposit is non refundable.
